Our concept

From the very beginning, Janine was born out of a deep respect for craft. Not just the craft of cooking — but the quiet, patient artistry of those who work with their hands. The farmers, the bakers, the cheesemakers, the growers. The people who turn raw simplicity into something soulful.

At the core of the restaurant stands our wood-fired oven, not only baking pizzas but also adding a fire-kissed flavor to some other dishes we serve. We set out to create a restaurant that celebrates these makers — a place where hospitality is heartfelt, and every plate tells a story of care, origin, and intention. We work with local ingredients, seasonal produce, and trusted partners who share our values. Our kitchen is led by intuition, flavor and integrity.

More than anything, we wanted to create a space that would win over the hearts of locals. A place that feels like home, only better.
